Ronan Sayburn MS journeys to the Sonoma Coast of California in this edition of ‘Live from the Vines’, where he meets Jamie Kutch, the ambitious owner of Kutch Vineyards who left a lucrative career in stock trading in 2005 to make the leap into the world of winemaking. Kutch wines are made as naturally as possible, hand-harvested before being sorted meticulously by gravity, the grapes are fermented in small open-top containers with hand and feet punch-downs, using only indigenous yeasts, before the wine is aged sur lie in French oak.
