Live From the Vines: Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande

Hosted by Jane Anson & Nicolas Glumineau

Universally regarded as one of the so-called ‘Super Seconds’ and with Latour as next-door neighbour, Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande rubs shoulders both figuratively and geographically with Bordeaux’s First Growths.

Its standing has been centuries in the making, during which time it has rarely changed hands, the most recent chapter beginning in 2007 when it was acquired by Champagne Louis Roederer.

In conversation with Jane Anson, incumbent CEO and winemaker Nicolas Glumineau sketches out the rebirth of an estate whose reputation was founded on the acumen of a string of notable women whose influence reverberates to this day.
