Sarmassa Tasting with the Barolo Boys, Federico Moccia, Nelson Pari and Gian luca Colombo – Tuesday 27th September

To the unwavering Barolo devotees, Cerequio and Brunate have always been considered some of the most expressive crus in Barolo. What lies between them is Sarmassa.

Sarmassa is a cru that holds many ideas laid forth by a wide array of producers, each maintaining completely different views on winemaking. A basin with a surface area of 33,74ha and elevations of 240-300m, there is plenty to be uncovered and explored, guided by our intrepid hosts.

We welcome back Deputy Head Sommelier Federico Moccia, Nelson Pari and Barolo guru Gian Luca Colombo for an exceptional horizontal tasting of 6 wines from the area.

Members will have the opportunity to taste wines from every Sarmassa MGA producer in the vintage 2018, in what promises to be a characterful evening not to forget.
