Cigars and wine share fascinating parallels in their production and craftsmanship – though if you thought winemaking was complex, just wait until you discover the many stages involved in creating a hand-rolled cigar…

Nick Hammond is a world-renowned cigar authority, best known for his Around The World in 80 Cigars series, which follow his adventures across the globe. With decades of experience, his work has featured in Cigar Journal, Cigar Aficionado, Country Life, The Daily Telegraph, The Times, Whisky Magazine, Fieldsports, FT How To Spend It, and many more.

We are delighted to welcome Nick to the Club for an informal evening of cigar exploration. This is a rare opportunity to ask questions, gain insights into how different cigar makers craft their unique flavours, and explore the comparisons between cigars and wine.

Both of Nick’s books are available to book with your tickets, and he will be available on the night to personally sign and dedicate your copies.

And while we’re sad to say that there will be no actual sampling of cigars in the St James’s Room on the night, we do have a rather fun selection of wines for the occasion…

Please note, tickets are refundable for cancellations up to 5 days before the event. Cancellations must be made in writing to [email protected]. Any cancellations within 5 days of the event are non-refundable unless 67 Pall Mall resells the ticket to another Member. This is only possible when the event is sold out and there is a waiting list.
