Here at 67, wine is in our DNA. So when you choose to host a wine-focused event here, be it an industry tasting or a social gathering, you can be sure of one thing – the wine element will be in the safest of hands. The team responsible for hosting events here are the same team as work day-to-day in the Clubroom and Lounge in the Club itself. As such, they understand the key elements of wine presentation, from storage to serving. From our cellar team to our sommeliers, our staff’s wine know-how is consummate.
There are no extra charges for spittoons, tables, linen, ice or our Zalto stemware (up to 300 glasses) and nor is there any need to engage third parties for the provision of such services, or to co-ordinate delivery at a specific time on the day of the event, as our cellar team are able to accept deliveries up to two days in advance of your booking. Ultimately, ours is a holistic offering, tailored for a specialist wine audience.
The St. James’s Room is the largest events space in the Club that benefits from its own discrete entrance from Pall Mall. It can be configured to host formal wine tastings, dining, walkaround tastings or drinks receptions. This generous and adaptable room offers a natural daylight lighting system and high quality AV. The St James’s Room holds both private events hosted by our Members as well as a packed calendar of tastings and masterclass dinners.
The Marlborough Room is an intimate, oak panelled room on the mezzanine level of the Club. It enjoys beautiful views of the Queen’s Chapel and St. James’s Palace. The room offers seating for up to 12 for dining, meetings and tasting throughout the day. For standing receptions, the room can accommodate 18.
The classically elegant Lutyens Room is situated on the ground floor, beyond the Members’ Lounge. The Lutyens Room seats up to 12, ideal for dining and tastings. The room is also equipped for business meetings and presentations, with an in-built TV screen on one wall, and other AV equipment available on request.
