With a brand new year upon us at 67 Pall Mall, we have an exciting series of wine trips in store for our Members, reaching far and wide across the vinous map.

While we are (just about) managing to keep future itineraries under our hat, we are extremely excited to announce the first in this series of wine-fuelled expeditions. Our destination? The oldest wine-producing country in the New World, South Africa.

Accompanied by a 67 Pall Mall sommelier, this carefully curated one-week trip will be our second sojourn to the Cape. This year, we have added a day in the Swartland, home to the irrepressible Eben Sadie. Members will also enjoy a tasting of Mullineux wines at the magical Roundstone Farm, and a lunch in the eclectic winery of one of wine’s global superstars, Adi Badenhurst.

You will be visiting some of the most iconic vineyards of the Western Cape, and tasting wines in the company of the winemakers behind them. Members can read below the itinerary for the trip, during which we will be using the charming town of Stellenbosch as our base.

Remington Norman, the renowned author of several definitive books on the wines of Burgundy (and host of our inaugural tour of South Africa) will join us for our day in Hemel-en-Aarde. In the evening, he will host a masterclass tasting of South Africa’s finest, mature Pinot Noir wines, many from his own cellar in Erinvale.

The trip costs £4,000 per person, or £3,500 per person if sharing.

The ticket price includes:
– Accommodation for 6 nights
– Transport for the duration of the trip including to and from the airport
– All arranged meals listed in the itinerary
