A TOAST TO ENGLAND

Both qualitatively and quantitatively, English wine (still & sparkling) has progressed enormously in the past few years, to a point where, when tasted blind, the reaction I usually provoke when revealing to my guest that they have been drinking a glass of English wine rather than something else is “oh… that’s really rather good…”

English Wine Week is celebrated from 26th May – 3rd June, with various events taking place across the country to raise awareness of our home-grown crop; as such, on Tuesday 29th May Members can expect to see an array of both still and sparkling British wines to sip on throughout this seated Masterclass, led by one of our sommeliers.
